Andrea Heaton

Andrea is a writer, director, theatre maker, and co-Artistic Director of Fidget Theatre. She has a specialism in participatory theatre and is passionate about building meaningful connections with live audiences. Andrea’s recent credits include: Writer/Director, Football Freddie (Fidget Theatre); Co-Writer, Smile Club, six part audio series; Writer, Taxi (Red Ladder Theatre, mad dogs Dance); Co-Writer/Performer, Smile Club (Red Ladder, **** Guardian).

 

Rachael Halliwell

Rachael is a producer, playwright, theatremaker, mentor and proud Yorkshire lass. She is an Associate Artist at Harrogate Theatre & Elysium Theatre, and a supported artist of Sheffield Theatres. Rachael is the co-founder of All Points North Productions, a host and coach for PiPA, and visiting lecturer at Leeds Conservatoire and Institute of Contemporary Theatre.

 

Ed Heaton
Ed is a sound designer, composer and music producer. He has worked with companies including Red Ladder, Hullabulloo, Mind The Gap, Blah, Blah, Blah! and Fidget Theatre. His sound installations and site specific work have been performed at the London Eye, Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Manchester Royal Exchange and York Minster. 
 
 
Rod Dixon
Rod has been Artistic Director of Red Ladder for 17 years and is moving on to set up an off-gridartist’s community in rural Scotland. His final show for thecompany was Taxi, written by Andrea Heaton - a collaboration with Douglas Thorpe’s company mad dogs Dance Theatre.
 
 
Emma Williams
Emma trained at Wimbledon School of Art and has been lucky enough to bring light to the dark with talented thoughtful people ever since. Her designs include: Upon The Stair (TBODAL), Smile Club (Red Ladder), Nine Night and Refugee Boy (Leeds Playhouse), Football Freddie (Fidget Theatre), Strawberries in January (Traverse Theatre) and Abigail’s Party (Hull Truck).
 
 
Matthew Carnazza 
Matthew is a Yorkshire born and London based lighting designer with a keen interest in giving light a physical presence in a production. He studied Lighting Design at Rose Bruford College. His credits include ALiCE (international tour), The Girl With The Tale (Dance City), 122 Love Stories (Harrogate Theatre), JV2 (Sadler’s Wells/UK tour). 
 
 
Vicky Ackroyd
Vicky works with creative organisations to explore access and inclusion. She has worked with Leeds Playhouse, Mind the Gap, Opera North, Pilot Theatre, Thick and Tight Dance Theatre, Joss Arnott Dance, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Fidget Theatre,Wrongsemble & Leeds 2023.
 
Noelle Adames

Noelle Adames  is a HCPC-qualified dramatherapist and actor, with 20+ years experience working in therapy and the arts. She is a Well-being Practitioner for the Artist Well-being Company and has worked on numerous productions including for Regents Open Air Theatre and Netflix.

 

Maya Carroll
Maya Carroll is a freelance dance artist, interested in how movement communicates. She has collaborated with Red Ladder, mad dogs Dance, Emma Critchley, Extended Play and Liam Francis. Recently, she performed in Lost Dog Dance’s critically acclaimed Ruination at the Linbury Theatre of the Royal Opera House.
