Thank you for your interest in bringing your production to Park Theatre. Our submissions window is currently closed and will reopen on Mon 3 Feb.
Any submissions sent after Mon 9 Dec will not be received so please resend any proposal documents after the 3 Feb.
At Park Theatre we present a mixture of new writing and modern revivals, collaborating with the finest talent on stage and behind the scenes to deliver world class theatre. We tell accessible, real-to-life stories, whose content resonates and reflects the world around us and the neighbourhoods close by. We produce both in-house and in partnership with excellent existing and emerging producers. We aim for a breadth and variety of narratives and viewpoints throughout our programming, including proportionate representation across the gender spectrum. We particularly look out for work that is made by and tells the stories of women, people from the global majority, the LGBTQ+ community, lower socio-economic backgrounds and D/deaf and disabled people.
Production Submissions
If you are a professional producer or theatre company and would like to submit a proposal to produce a show in one of our theatres, please read and complete the relevant Park90 or Park200 documents below and return them to submissions@parktheatre.co.uk. We will read and respond to all fully completed submissions.
Script Submissions
Park Theatre is working in partnership with Papatango on their 2024 New Writing Prize, and we will co-produce the winning play in a full run on our Main Stage in 2025. Submissions are open from noon on Wednesday 17 January 2024 until noon on Monday 11 March 2024 and every entrant will receive feedback on their script. For more information, please visit the Papatango website. Park Theatre will not respond directly to unsolicited scripts without a producer attached.
Space for Local Artists
Through this scheme, Park Theatre offers free space to local artists and companies of any theatrical genre for them to work on their next script or show. Perhaps you have a project you would like some time and space to develop, or maybe you’re a writer who would like a quiet space to write and some feedback on your work. Applications for this scheme are currently closed. To hear when spaces reopen, please fill in this form.
