Katy Schutte
Katy Schutte has performed and taught improv in twenty-something countries over five continents and is a Head Teacher for Hoopla, the UK’s biggest improv school. Katy has been one of The Maydays since 2004, is half of legendary sci-fi improv duo Project2, performs with Hell Yeah! and Track 96 and authored The Improviser's Way: A Longform Workbook, published by Nick Hern Books.
Katy was a Brighton Fringe Best Comedy Show finalist in 2018, stars in BAFTA winning online educational series History Bombs, recently appeared in CBC's Limited Capacity podcast and is a cast member of Union Jack Radio's Dead British series. Katy is a contributing writer for Cards Against Humanity and is currently working on an industry-leading virtual reality improv show.
Brittany Pay
Britt Pay is an improviser, actor, and comedian.
She is a member of The Descendants, Michelle, and Juice with Monica Gaga, Lucy Trodd, and Amy Cooke-Hodgson. She appears regularly in Breaking & Entering’s ‘The Playground’, one of London’s most popular improv nights; and Unbridled: a Jilly Cooper Improvised Show. She has performed at Faversham Fringe, and Edinburgh Improv Festival, and sold-out shows at Camden Fringe. Britt has trained at Hoopla, The Nursery, Free Association, and with teachers from UCB, Second City, The IO Theatre, The Groundlings, and The Hideout.
Tamar Broadbent
Tamar worked as a main stage performer at renowned improv comedy theatre Boom Chicago. She performed long-form, short-form and musical improv five nights a week, and wrote sketches, stand up and songs for the theatre. She trained at the Free Association in London and was on house team My Brother, Jose.
Ruth Bratt
Ruth Bratt is a writer/performer.
Improvisation credits include: Being a founder member of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical; The Glenda J Collective with Josie Lawrence, Pippa Evans and Cariad Lloyd; Very Serious Play (with Lee Simpson), Whose Line Is It Anyway Live and regular guest with The Comedy Store Players.
TV credits include: BAFTA-winning People Just Do Nothing (BBC3), Man Down (C4), Mongrels (BBC3), The Ministry of Curious Stuff (CBBC), Derek (C4). Radio credits include: The Best Laid Plans, Ankle Tag, Mrs Hudson’s Diaries, and Sarah Millican’s Support Group, as well as writing and performing Trodd en Bratt Say Well Done You with Lucy Trodd.
She is currently undertaking a very serious mince pie taste test, the results of which can be found on Twitter.
Pippa Evans
Pippa Evans is an Olivier Award-winning musical comedian, songwriter and improviser.
Improvisation credits include: Pippa is a core-member of Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She co-created and performs in two other improv groups: The Glenda J Collective (alongside Josie Lawrence, Cariad Lloyd and Ruth Bratt) and There Will Be Cake (alongside Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris and Paul Foxcroft). Both groups have performed sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at London’s Soho Theatre.
Radio credits include: Pippa can often be found singing funny songs on BBC Radio 4 in shows such as The Now Show and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue and is the co-host of the Showstopper Podcast.
Pippa also teaches the course Improv Your Life in which she demonstrates how improv can be applied to the everyday.
Helen Foster
Helen Foster is an actor, improviser and writer and trained at LIPA.

Jinni Lyons
Jinni Lyons is an actor, improviser and writer. She performs regularly with Yes Queens and The Actor’s Nightmare, and guests with the Comedy Store Players. She created a solo improv show, Jinni Lyons is an Only Child, which she toured nationally and internationally, including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Improvised Plays Festival in Austin, Texas, and the Women in Comedy Festival in Boston, MA.
She has appeared in several London 50 Hour Improvathons and Liverpool 33 Hour Improvathons, Unbridled: The Improvised Jilly Cooper Show, and created immersive theatre for Vault Festival and Tate Britain with The Society of N.I.C.E. She has also performed with NewsRevue and Secret Cinema.
Maria Peters
Improvisation credits include: being a member of one of the UK’s top improv duos, Breaking & Entering, the creators of London’s sell-out Playground show. She has also appeared with Music Box, Hoopla Players, Criminal Improv, Rhi & Ria, The 50-hour Improvathon, Katy & Maria, Ma & PA. Writing credits include: BBC Radio Comedy and she is a regular on the improv podcast Destination.
Theatre credits include: Maria’s critically acclaimed solo debut show The Science of Cringe (Edinburgh) which performed to sell-out audiences. “Left me helpless with laughter” – Fringe Guru.
She performs internationally across Europe and the United States.
Sarah-Louise Young
Sarah-Louise Young trained at Bristol University and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She is a performer, writer and director.

Heather Urquhart
She is an Artistic director of the Nursery Theatre in London and has also co-written a book on the subject of musical improvisation called Sing it! Heather was winner of the award for best female performer in the Brighton Fringe and can often be found improvising a concept album with Fred Deakin of Lemon Jelly.
Improvisation credits include: performing regularly with Olivier Award winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical and with The Maydays Tim Burton themed improv show Happily Never After.
Her duo improv show, Ten Thousand Million Love Stories has also toured in the US, Europe, Pakistan and most recently to Malawi.
