James Kemp I Director

JAMES KEMP trained at Drama Centre London, where in 1998 he was invited back to work alongside and assist Yat Malmgren in the teaching of Movement Psychology, and upon Malmgren’s retirement in 2001, he inherited his work and further developed this field of study and practise through workshops for Stage Centre, Israel; the International Workshop Festival; Schott Acting Studio, Berlin; Actors Center, New York; and as 'Laban Consultant’ on The Maids (Young Vic). He worked as Acting Supervisor on the award winning Czech film Hany (2014). He currently teaches at LAMDA. Directing credits include: Greenwich Village Above the Arts (Arts Theatre); Character Solos (St. James Studio), i do it to break (Soho Theatre); Promise (Rosemary Branch Theatre); Live Like Pigs (Italia Conti Academy); A Love Story (Roundhouse); Much Ado About Nothing, The Hot L Baltimore, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby, The Possessed, The Last Days of Don Juan, The Learned Ladies, Mephisto, Anything For A Quiet Life, Twelfth Night (Drama Centre); Enigma (EFF); The Secret Death of Salvador Dali (Old Red Lion); Watership Down (Riverside Studios).

 

Ralph Pezzullo I Writer

Ralph is a New York Times bestselling author, and award-winning playwright and

screenwriter. His book Jawbreaker is currently being produced by Warner Brothers with Christopher Nolan writing and directing. His plays include Dear Friends, On That Day, Eating the Shadow, and The Education of One Miss February.

 

Stephen Fife I Writer

Writer Stephen is an award-winning playwright and published writer. His plays Savage World, Break Of Day and This Is Not What I Ordered have been published by Samuel French. He’s also written book and lyrics for the musicals Charming, Buzz Snapshot and Young Forever, which all debuted at the Young Actors Workshop, which he founded and ran.

 

Oliver Taheri I Producer/General Manager

Oliver Taheri returns to Park Theatre after a critically acclaimed run of David Hare’s The Vertical Hour, starring Peter Davison back in 2014. Other producing credits include Impotent (Lion and Unicorn), The Spring Tide (Old Red Lion), Alice: A New Musical (St James Theatre), Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (Edinburgh, UK Tour, Brighton, Broadway – Nominated for 4 Broadway World Awards, and Brighton Fringe Audience Choice Award) and as Associate Producer on the UK premiere of Tony Award winning musical Urinetown (St James Theatre & the Apollo Theatre), and Jonathan Harvey’s Beautiful Thing (UK Tour).

Zahra Mansouri I Set and Costume Designer

Zahra Mansouri graduated from Central Saint Martins in BA(hons) Theatre Design for performance. Recent work includes 6 shows at the Ed Fringe. Other theatre credits include: The Marked (UK Tour, Pleasance King Dome), 5 shows in rep, as part of the Genesis/Revelation’season with Fourth Monkey TC (Space UK).

Earlier this year Zahra continued her role as Associate Designer setting up the design department and opening 10 shows with Fourth Monkey at their new and exciting venue, having undertaken the designs for their 15 shows over 2015. Also this year she was Assistant to the Designer for Trevor Nunn’s King John (Rose Theatre), The Cause (Jermyn Street Theatre), Knight from No- Where / Bells double bill (Park Theatre 90), Alice in Wonder Land (Battersea Library), Character (Tristan Bates), Finding Butterfly (Lime House Town Hall/Japan Transfer), The Great Gatsby (Wiltons Musichall), Being Tommy Cooper (Old Red Lion) and The Peculiar tale of Pablo Picasso and the Mona Lisa )Brockley Jack - nominated for two Off West-End Awards for Best Set and Best Costume Design)

Zahra is also looking forward to being back at the Park 90 with her first musical ‘This Little Life Of Mine’, which opens directly after The American Wife.
