Martin directed the first professional revival of The Grand Duke (Finborough Theatre) and the London premiere of Gyles Brandreth and Julian Slade’s Now We Are Sixty (King’s Head Theatre).

As a performer his theatre credits include ‘Joe’ in Promises and Lies (Birmingham Rep), 'Araspe' in La Didone (London Handel Festival), 'Moose' in Crazy For You (Kilworth House Theatre, Leicestershire); ‘St Brioche' in The Merry Widow (ClassicFest Opera); The Mikado, Iolanthe, The Pirates of Penzance (Gielgud Theatre). Television includes ‘Mabel’ in A Motley Pair (Sky Arts), Popstar to Operastar (ITV) and The Andrew Marr Show (BBC).

Martin's one man show The Falsetto received five star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and was the support act for Alistair McGowan in a charity gala. The Falsetto has played several times at The Pheasantry in Chelsea, where Martin also appeared with Russell Grant in their two man show, Songs We Always Wanted To Sing - But Were Never Allowed To. Martin returns to The Pheasantry this month with Dominic Anthony Ferris in What A Swell Party This Is!, after which the duo will appear in Stephen Sondheim’s 85th Birthday Gala Hey, Old Friends! at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
