Ursula Campbell - Director

Ursula is a Toronto-born, London-based Actor and Director. She has worked extensively in theatre, film & television on both sides of the pond. Her training includes YORK University Theatre School (CA), The Professional Actor’s Lab (CA) and Jack Waltzer's London Intensive (UK). She is co-founder of DAW a workshop for professional Directors, Actors & Writers with filmmaker Liam Saint-Pierre. Prior to DAW she co-founded TRANSMISSION with Melli Marie at PARK Theatre and other venues. Recent theatre directing credits include Face the Camera & Smile at The King's Head Theatre, In The Dollhouse for Spark Assembly at Old Diorama Arts Centre & Theatre N16, The Emperor Jones at Lost Theatre (now Stockwell Theatre), God Is Dead, Let’s Make Love at Canal CafĂ© Theatre and Shoehorn at Tristan Bates Theatre. She is currently working in film and television production at BBC Studios/BBC Arts on various documentaries. She is also in development with two of her own projects set to film in 2018 – one a new narrative piece, the other a documentary. 

 

James Woolf - Writer

James is a writer of prose, scripts and adverts. Prior to “In Denial” which James finished writing in February, his plays have been produced in various off-West End venues including The King's Head Theatre and the Arcola. Two radio plays have been broadcast including “Kerton’s Story” with Bill Nighy, Lesley Sharp and Stephen Moore. Ambit magazine published “Mr and Mrs Clark and Blanche” in January 2017 and “Good Morning, Azar” in July 2017. “The Crossroads at Jijiga” was shortlisted for the Bridport Short Story Prize 2016. “R V Sieger - additional documents disclosed by the Crown Prosecution Service” was highly commended in the 2015 London Short Story Prize and was published in an anthology in April 2016. He has just completed writing a novel - a psychological thriller, “Three Steps Behind”.

 

Shenagh Govan – Producer

Founder of The Script Readers, Shenagh trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School & has worked extensively in theatre, TV, film & radio. Recent work includes feature film ‘The Man Who Knew Infinity’ with Dev Patel & Jeremy Irons and Madame Rastoil in The Musketeers for BBC. TV film credits include Aunt Gritty in “The Mill on the Floss” with Emily Watson & Bernard Hughes  , Sally Masey in Peter Kosminsky’s “Innocents” with Tim Pigott Smith, Bookish Woman in “Stuart A Life Backwards” with Benedict Cumberbatch & Tom Hardy  and “Summer in The Suburbs” & “The Vascillations of Poppy Carew”. Shenagh’s TV extensive credits  include 8 years as Joy, S.O.C.O in The Bill, episodes of “Murder in Mind”, Sea of Souls, “Holby City”, “Doctors”, “Casualty”, “Midsomer Murders”, “Without Motive”, “Eastenders”, “Taking Liberties, “Dear Dilemma” & “Inside Victor Lewis Smith
