Ellie Rose completed her actor training at Central School of Speech and Drama in October. Recently she performed as part of the 'Theatre Breaks' festival in Camden and previous credits include work at the National Student Drama Festival, Latitude, Re:Play and for BBC Radio 4.  Previously she has written two short plays which were produced at The Lowry Studio, Salford. She writes to create a language for feminism; a relevant and contagious dialogue which can transfer to life, to action. Red wine and Yoga also feature quite heavily in her day to day life - not necessarily at the same time. This is her first play to be produced in London.

 

Katie Wimpenny trained at Rose Bruford College as an actor. In recent years she has focussed her attention on writing. She is currently working with Red Planet Pictures on a television comedy, 'Fallout' which has recently had a commission with Channel 4 and is one of twelve writers chosen for this years Channel 4 screenwriting scheme. 

She is also working on a comedy drama, 'This Way Out Please' with Noho film and television and was a finalist in last years International Screenwriters Goldmine competition with her script 'Caravan'. Last year she wrote and performed a monologue called 'The Orange' at The Landor Theatre as part of the Shorts writing event, which she has written and directed for previously.

As an actor she has worked at The National, West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Arcola, The Market Theatre in Johannesburg, toured with Shared experience and has various TV and radio credits. 

 

Jullie Balloo is a former stand up comic and current comedy radio and theatre writer. She has written quite a lot of Flash Fiction which she has published online and in print as well as several short stories. She is a regular writer for White Rabbit, the Story Telling group.  Julie has had plays produced on the London Fringe, the Edinburgh Fringe, Off Off Broadway and in Melbourne and one collaborative play broadcast on Channel 4.  She has also written the books to two musicals, one of which, Shout! had a West End run and tour. Her long time writing partner is comedienne Jenny Eclair and they work together regularly, as well as lunching and visiting art galleries, when possible. She has two sons, neither of whom likes Page 3.

 

Amy Ewbank's recent directing credits include, as Director; PHILIP RIDLEY NEW WRITING PREMIERS at Old Red Lion, FRAGMENTS at Paddington Arts Centre (writer and director), A TWISTED MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM with Laissez Faire Arts.  As Assistant Director; FAULT LINES at Hampstead Theatre, CAKE AND CONGO at Theatre 503 and THE FASTEST CLOCK IN THE UNIVERSE at The Old Red Lion.

 

Kim Pearce studied at Warwick University and Birkbeck College, University Of London. Recipient of a 2011/12 Regional Young Directors Scheme bursary and the runner up prize for the 2013 JMK Young Director award. Theatre credits as Director include Solomon Child (Manchester Royal Exchange Studio), Something Unspoken, Cheaper Than Roses (Warwick Arts Centre) and The Skriker (NSDF 08). As Assistant Director, Moon Tiger (Bath Theatre Royal and national tour) Ghosts (English Touring Theatre and Rose Theatre Kingston) Cinderella The Midnight Princess (Rose Theatre Kingston),  Sweeney Todd, The Way Of The World and associate director on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Chichester Festival Theatre), The Lady From The Sea, Zack and A View From The Bridge (Manchester Royal Exchange), Mogadishu (Manchester Royal Exchange/Lyric Hammersmith.) Associate Director of the Theatre On The Fly venue at Chichester Festival Theatre.

 

Zoe Lafferty has directed, written and researched for theatre in Afghanistan, the US, Palestine, Europe and Japan, and travelled in secret through Syria during the uprising to collect material for her verbatim play The Fear of Breathing. She is Associate Director of The Freedom Theatre Palestine and Associate Director and board member of The Red Room Theatre Company. Directing includes The Keepers Of Infinite Space (Park Theatre) The Fear of Breathing (Finborough Theatre; Akasaka Red Theatre, Tokyo), the world premiere of Bola Agbaje’s Concrete Jungle (Riverside Studios), Gaza: Breathing Space (Soho Theatre), Adult Child/Dead Child (Unicorn Theatre and Edinburgh Festival), Alice in Wonderland (Freedom Theatre Palestine) and Sho Khman? (Freedom Theatre Palestine and International Tour). Associate Directing includes Lost Nation (The Red Room). Assistant Directing includes The Dresser (Watford Palace Theatre), Waiting For Godot (Freedom Theatre Palestine and American Tour), Protozoa (The Red Room) and Oikos (The Red Room). Zoe is a published playwright, spoken at various Universities and for Human Rights groups and has developed work with National Theatre Wales and The Hammersmith Lyric. Zoe trained at Drama Centre, London and the Vaktangov Theatre School, Moscow.
