Biographies

Faust | Adam Boakes

Adam graduated from Rose Bruford in 2012. He appeared as 'Joe' in Dumbwise's 2013 production of Matchgirls and is thrilled to be playing Faust in their UK Tour. 

Most recent theatre credits  include; 'T' in The Words I Should Have Said To Phoebe Lewis at Phoenix Theatre Artists Club and 'Prospero' in Tiny Tempest at The Pleasance Islington. TV and Film credits include Eastenders (TV), England And The Road To Modernity (TV) and Kicking Off (Feature).

Mephistopheles | David Burnett

David recently graduated from Drama Centre London. While in training David won the nationally competed Laurence Olivier Bursary Award. Professional credits during training include Pioneer at Norwich Playhouse which went on to win a Fringe First, and Best Years for Nabakov at Watford Palace Theatre.

Gretchen | Eilidh deBonnaire

Eilidh deBonnaire trained as an Actor Musician at Rose Bruford College. She works as a Theatre & Music Facilitator for Almeida Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, Young Vic & DumbWise Theatre Company.

Martha | Samantha Sutherland 

Samantha Sutherland trained at Rose Bruford college on the actor musicianship course. Since graduating she has worked at the Bolton Octagon, (Oliver Twist, Rose/Bet/Agnes 2009) The Watermill Theatre, (Arabian Nights, Kashifah 2011) The Salisbury Playhouse (The Recruiting Officer, Lucy 2013) and toured, workshopped and co produced various company's work as an actress, musician and puppeteer (including Pants on Fire and Forest Forge).  Samantha also has her own music company for children- offering tutoring and entertainment www.mamfysmusictime.co.uk. 

Valentin | Jofre Alsina

Jofre comes from Barcelona, where he gained a BA Hons. in Physical Theatre at the Spanish Institut del Teatre. In London he studied drama at Rose Bruford College where he further developed his skills with the piano and the double bass. He graduated in 2009 with a BA Hons in Actor-Musicianship.

Jofre most recently performed as Alderman Fitzwarren in the New Wolsey Theatre rock 'n roll panto Dick Whittington. His previous credits include: Brazil – Project Dreams and The Red Shoes (Secret Cinema), The Walrus in Alice Through The

Looking Glass (5 Hertford Street), In The Beginning Was The End (site specific at Somerset House for Dreamthinkspeak), Gulliver’s Travels (TNT European Tour), Faust (DumbWise), the Ogre in Sleeping Beauty (Birmingham Rep.), The Wind In The Willows (Derby Theatre), and A Christmas Carol (King’s Head Theatre).

Simon | David Hewson

David Hewson is an actor-musician, musical director and composer. He trained at Rose Bruford on the Actor-Musicianship programme. Acting and MD credits include ‘Harold the Herald’, Cinderella, Stafford Gatehouse;  'When you hear my voice’, Corradino Youth Correctional-Facility, Malta; and 'Twisted Christmas’, Liverpool Everyman theatre.
