BARRY FROM WATFORD

82 year old Barry from Watford was first brought to public consciousness when he became a cult star on Iain Lee's radio show, where he regularly phones in today!!

He has performed two hit shows at The Pleasance, Edinburgh, Watford Palace Theatre and Leicester Square Theatre – “Let’s Talk To Barry” and “The Barry From Watford Comedy Show” In 2007 Barry started making regular appearances on Marcus Brigstocke's Late Edition comedy show for BBC4, and since June 2009, and was a regular “lifestyle guru” on Steve Wright show on Radio 2

RACHEL PARRIS

Rachel Parris is an award-winning musical comedian. This summer she performed her debut solo show at the Edinburgh Fringe to great acclaim, and recently appeared in the IT Crowd Special on channel 4. "One sometimes doubts that Britain's got talent, but Parris has it in spades" - The Guardian

 

 

KIERAN POWELL

"Real genius in puppet form".Kieran Powell is the UK's most contemporary ventriloquist, with a modern, musical twist to his award winning act. He is supported by a colourful range of charming and flirtatious characters who sing their way in to everyone's hearts.

He engages audiences with a combination of fast paced comedy, creative interpretation of pop music and a fearless attitude to audience participation and witty improvisation.

 

ANDREA HUBERT 

Andrea is a stand up, writer and amateur taxidermist. She performs regularly across the UK, peddling a storytelling style of comedy that's been described as "quirkily original" by critics and "really disgusting, I didn't like it at all" by one very drunk woman in Nottingham. She was the winner of the inaugural Boom- Tish! award in 2011, and in 2013, won the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum. Currently, she is working on a new sitcom for the BBC, performing at clubs like Downstairs at the King’s Head and The Glee, writing an Edinburgh show, and trying to create a less wonky companion for her stuffed mouse Alan. h magic ranging from close up illusions to full stage production shows

CHRISTIAN LEE

Christian Lee is a talented and award winning, comedian/magician, finalist of the Hackney Empire new act of the year and winner of the BBC 1's The Slammer and asked back to perform again for series 4. Finalist of Britain does Variety 2012. Christian is currently leading the way with his unique style and diverse performances and has been dubbed "The King of Comedy Magic" by Time Out magazine.

 

NB: On Oct 27th we are joined by TV and West End star Jill Halfpenny to raise awareness and funds for bully prevention charity Kidscape with a grand draw.

PETE FIRMAN

Star of BBC1show The Magicians and recently seen on BBC2in The Sarah Millican Television Programme and Channel 4′s Mash-Up.

Part comedian, part magician, all scoundrel! ‘The man from Middlesbrough sets the pace for comedy-meets-magic in the 21st century’ (Times).

ISY SUTTIE

Isy is a Sony award-winning stand-up comedian, actress, writer, composer and musician. She is best known for playing the role of Dobby in the British sitcom Peep Show.

BBC Radio writing and performing work includes The Mitch Benn Music Show, Tilt (BBC 7); Out to Lunch, "The Trap" (BBC Radio 2); The Milk Run (BBC Radio 1); The Now Show, The Alternative Women's Institute, Four on the Floor, Danny Robins Music Therapy, Laurence & Gus: Hearts & Minds, Sarah Millican's Support Group, Charlie Brooker's So Wrong It's Right, and Pearl and Dave (all BBC Radio 4). She is also a regular presenter of The Comedy Club on BBC Radio 4 Extra and has acted in two of Tim Key's radio shows. 

On TV [amongst other roles, she plays the regular character Esther in Shameless and appeared in the ITV comedy drama series Great Night Out as Bev and in Comedy Central UK's "The Alternative Comedy Experience".
