Carey Crim

Carey Crim is an award-winning playwright, screenwriterand graduate of Northwestern University’s acclaimed theater arts program. Her play Never Not Once was the winner of the Jane Chambers award, a finalist for the O’Neill (National Playwrights Conference) and opened last February at Park Theatre to rave reviews. Carey adapted her play Wake for the screen and the feature film (starring Jo Koy) has won numerous film festival awards and was released October 8th by Gravitas Ventures. Morning After Grace ran to sold-out houses at The Purple Rose Theater starring Randolph Mantooth. It has continued to be produced every season at such luminary theaters as Asolo Repertory Theater, The Royal Manitoba Theater Centre, Shakespeare and Company, The Barter Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, Gulfshore playhouse and many more. It was published by Theatrical Rights Worldwide. TRW also published her one-act play Distance Learning written for Laurie Metcalf. Paint Night was chosen for the 2020 Kilroys list, premiered at The Public Theatre in Maine and is slated for multiple productions next season. Her newest play The Islanders is currently in development and her comedy What Springs Forth will premiere at The Purple Rose in June. Carey is represented by Mark Orsini at Bret Adams and Brandy Rivers at Industry Entertainment where she is developing the television drama Blessed.

 

Katharine Farmer

Katharine’s directing credits include Carey Crim’s Never Not Once at Park Theatre in 2022; The Least We Could Do at The Hope Theatre; The Mullah of Downing Street at Warwick Arts Centre; Other People’s Money at the Southwark Playhouse; Kiss Me at The Wardrobe Theatre Bristol; and Pig Farm at the formerly known St. James Theatre. For 8 years, Katharine held an O1 visa and worked as the Director of International Programming at Rubicon Theatre Company in California, where her production of Gulf View Drive won Best Production of a Play (large theatre) at the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards. She has received 7 LA Times Critic’s Picks for her productions at Rubicon, and a total of 16 Ovation nominations. Her other plays at Rubicon include Never Not Once, Heisenberg, South Pacific, Gulf View Drive, Incognito, See Rock City and Last Train to Nibroc. Katharine’s productions of Arlene Hutton’s The Nibroc Trilogy is available to download on Digital Theatre. Katharine has also co-directed 23.5 Hours by Carey Crim at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre in Canada and taken work to the Bermuda Festival. She is the Artistic Director of The Playwright’s Laboratory, is an Artistic Associate at Arcola Theatre, and runs her own theatre company Blue Touch Paper Productions. 

 

Paul O'Leary

Paul is Production & Theatre Adviser for Nederlander Theatres (Aldwych) Ltd, London. Current production: Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. Executive Producer for Sir Michael Codron, CBE. Productions include Mr Foote’s Other Leg, The Elephant Man (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Quartermaine’s Terms (Wyndham’s Theatre), and produced Other People’s Money for OPM Productions Ltd at Southwark Playhouse. Paul is a Trustee of the Theatre Workshop Trust, a Member of the Society of London Theatre, and ABTT Skillscene & Safety committees.

Jamie trained at RWCMD and has been nominated for a Knight of Illumination Award, a BroadwayWorld Award and five Offie Awards for Best Lighting Design.
