What is it?

Park Theatre Company is an opportunity for performers 18+ who are interested in working on exciting and relevant new writing. 

The company collaborate with playwright Billie Esplen over the first four weeks, sharing their skills, interests, and challenges which are then incorporated into the script. Director Amy Allen will work with the group across all 10 weeks on the piece. The project culminates with two performances in Park Theatre’s Morris Space.

Audition Information

Participation is by audition only on Tue 9 or Wed 10 January, in a 10 minute time slot between 18.00-21.00.
You can book an audition by clicking on the 'Book now' button.

Once we have all the bookings, we will allocate audition times and contact you. 
Audition booking closes on Fri 5 Jan. You will be notified of your time slot on Mon 8 Jan.

For the audition:
Please prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than 3 minutes, of your choice. If you are a singer/play an instrument, please let us know this when you book your audition.

Drop-in sessions, or full course?

Participants will gain maximum benefit from this course by attending all classes.

The Creative Engagement programmes depend on course fees to run. For this reason, we take payment ahead of the course and fees are non-refundable.

Scholarships

We have three scholarships available for this programme which entitle the recipient to 50% off. 

Scholarships are for participants in a financially challenging situation, those who live with a disability or people from a global majority background.
