What is it?
This weekly in-person course is a wonderful way to explore acting techniques and develop performance skills in a safe, fun and supportive environment. Our company is friendly and inclusive, and welcomes those who have been acting for their entire lives to those who may have felt that there have not been avenues for them to engage in theatre in the past.
This term from January to May, the company will be exploring the world of situational comedy through devising a response performance to Park Theatre’s co-produced show Kim’s Convenience. The project will culminate with a sharing of the performance of the work the group create.
If the class you wish to attend is appearing as sold out, please email Community Engagement Manager ([email protected]) and add yourself to the waiting list for future classes.
Drop-in sessions, or full course?
Participants will gain maximum benefit from this course by attending all classes.
The Creative Engagement programmes depend on course fees to run. For this reason, we take payment ahead of the course and fees are non-refundable.
We have three scholarships available for this programme which entitle the recipient to 50% off.
Scholarships are for participants who are disables, from a global majority background, or in a financially challenging situation.
To be considered for a scholarship, please send an expression of interest by email to [email protected]. Scholarships are offered upon final company selection.
