Gloria Williams | Writer & Producer
Gloria is an award-winning playwright who is a graduate of the The Royal Court Theatre Young Writers' Group and the Screen Institute. She wrote Bullet Hole, which ran at Park Theatre in 2018 and was shortlisted for the Alfred Fagon Choice award, won Best Actress at the Black British awards, and was shortlisted at The Off West End Awards for Most promising new Playwright.
Another credit includes Monday, which also garnered widespread acclaim and was performed at the Samuel French off Broadway festival at The Manhattan Repertory Theatre in Times Square. It also premiered in the UK at The Lost One Act Play Festival, winning Best Overall Production. Gloria was shortlisted for the Women Of The Future award in the Arts and Culture category, and has co-written the screen adaptation of Bullet Hole.
Lara Genovese | Director, Producer & Designer
Lara is a Director, Writer, Photographer and Set Designer with a degree in Architecture. She directs, produces and set designs her own theatre shows and works in set decorating teams for studio feature films. She was a former Walt Disney imagineer-theme park Designer in Hong Kong for five years, and an Architect working for Foster+Partners for two years.
Her credits in London include the professional stage play representation of Bullet Hole (Park Theatre) and several shows in Hong Kong. She is the director of the shorts Kicking the Sky, Frog, Nene and Wow-er Woman. As a writer she has written and pitched a TV series pilot, a children’s book series, an animation series, several shorts and the screenplay adaptation of Bullet Hole which has now been optioned.
Ben Jacobs | Light Designer
Ben trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Theatre credits include: Evita (Parque Villa-Lobos, Sau Paulo); Dawn French is a Huge Tw*t (UK Tour); Salome, Seussical, Bring it On (Southwark Playhouse); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Wilton's Music Hall); Caterpillar (Stephen Joseph Theatre); Dolphins & Sharks, Melting Pot, Maggie & Pierre (Finborough Theatre);NoMad, Lord of the Flies, Edward II (Greenwich Theatre).
Associate/Assistant Lighting Designer credits include: Les Misérables (UK Tour/West End/International); Anna (National Theatre, Dorfman); Le Nozze di Figaro (Glyndebourne); Sondheim’s Old Friends (Sondheim Theatre); The Lorax (Old Vic); Ostalgie (National Theatre Studio); Project O (Southbank Centre); Crave (Prague Quadrennial).
Edward Lewis | Sound Designer
Ed gained a BA (Hons) in Music from Pembroke College, University of Oxford, followed by studying for a Masters in Composition For The Screen at Bournemouth University, where he subsequently taught music technology. He also studied Orchestral and Choral Conducting, and worked as Musical Director for a broad range of choirs and orchestras.
Ed has worked as a Composer and Sound Designer on a large number of productions, and, given his conducting background, particularly enjoys working with live actor-musicians. Recent credits include: Day In The Death Of Joe Egg (Trafalgar Studio 1); A Christmas Carol (Wilton's Music Hall); The Canterville Ghost (Unicorn Theatre); Two Trains Running (Royal & Derngate).
Elodie Chiper | Costume Designer & Creative Assistant
Elodie trained at RCSSD London. She was shortlisted for the Linbury Prize for Stage and Costume Design.
She worked as an Assistant Designer for Hackney Empire, Shotgun Carousel, English Touring Opera, National Theatre of Catalunia, Stuttgart State Opera and collaborated closely with choreographer Yoann Bourgeois as a storyboard artist.
Melissa Berry | Stage Manager
Melissa is excited to be back at Park Theatre for a fourth time since graduating with a degree in Theatre Production (Arts and Stage Management) from Winchester University in 2015. Since then she has stage managed over fifty shows including: The View From Nowhere, Black Chiffon, Corpse! (Park Theatre); The Silence Of Snow (Leicester Square Theatre); Mad As Hell (Jermyn Street Theatre); Lord Of The Flies (Greenwich Theatre); Daisy Pulls It Off (Charring Cross Theatre); Cuckoo (Soho Theatre); Robin Hood (Salisbury Playhouse).
