Yeehah! We’re rollin’ into the Wild West for the return of Park Theatre’s hit fundraiser Whodunnit [Unrehearsed]; back with more murder, mayhem, and, this time, a touch of musical mischief. It’s our most ambitious yet, with a company of actors, musicians and a live saloon pianist bringing the world to life, and the audience get to join in the singalongs too.
Welcome to Graveside, a dusty frontier town where the saloon and the general store look suspiciously similar, gold fever is running high, and (hobby) horses roam free. There’s stolen treasure, suspicious strangers, and a Reverend who may not practice what he preaches.
Each performance, a different celebrity becomes the new Sheriff in town – completely unrehearsed, armed only with an earpiece and their wits. And yes, Sir Ian McKellen returns to lend his voice to the chaos.
NEW for Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4: Cabaret seating arrives in Park200, pulling you right into the heart of the action. And Graveside’s grown; mosey next door to the Last Chance Saloon, a place to rest your spurs, raise a glass and soak up the Wild West spirit. Choose a ticket with Last Chance Saloon access to step inside.

Dawn Frencham
Dawn Frencham
Dawn Frencham is the owner of the Saloon Bar. Once the thrivin’ heart of this here bustlin’ frontier town, Dawn’s pride and joy has sure as a gun seen better days…
Between the Sotheby boys’ raids and the hullabaloo of the town’s roostered regulars, Dawn has her work cut out keepin’ the establishment running.
One of the few buildings left standin’ in Graveside, she ain’t gunna let local outlaws’ antics or the lingerin’ memory of an ol’ flame wear her down.
She dreams of this here day a new Sherrif mightn’t just arrive to restore Graveside to its former glory, and the Saloon Bar to the thrivin’ watering hole it once were.
-
Reverend Virgil
Reverend Virgil
One of the newest arrivals to Graveside, the Reverend appeared in this god-forsaken town when it was in need of guidance more than ever.
The church may have burned down and the pulpit may double up as a bar, but with Rev. Virgil’s unshakeable virtues, Graveside can overcome whatever lawless horrors thrown at it.
That is, at least, if he can remember to practise what he preaches.

Meg Frencham
Meg Frencham
Meg Frencham is the daughter of Saloon Bar owner, Dawn. She works hard to keep the pot a boilin’ and the finances in apple pie order in this much-loved institution at the heart o’ Graveside.
At least, that’s when she ain’t distracted by her sweetheart, the honest ranch-hand Buck Steed.
Don’t be fooled by her sweet exterior. Rumour has it she’s the best shot in the West, or so they say…
-
Buck Steed
Buck Steed
Buck Steed is the ranch hand of Graveside. When he ain’t wranglin’ his herd of cattle, fixin’ up the broken fences on the ranch or yarnin’ the hours away in the Saloon Bar, he can be found with his sweetheart, barmaid Meg Frencham.
The two young lovers are devoted to one another and beneath this cowboy exterior is a romantic who’d lay down his life for his sweetheart. And the lives of others? Who could say…

Verity Hargreaves
Verity Hargreaves
Verity Hargreaves is the owner of the General Store. A god-fearing woman in Graveside, she’s always got one eye on the scriptures (and the other snoopin’ about in everyone else’s business!)
She’s in mourning for her late husband, the rich and powerful General Honkytonk Hargreaves the Fourth.
They say love obeys neither rhyme nor reason and Verity would know, even if she did marry the man when he was already on his deathbed.
-
James Early
James Early
One of Ole Man Sotheby’s gang of outlaws, James Early is after gold and willin’ to bleed the town dry to get it.
Ruthless as a mountain lion and relentless as a gallnipper, there ain’t a man or woman in Graveside who don’t fear this lawless villain.
But Early knows the Sheriff ain’t no ordinary townsperson, and between the rumours of their arrival and the beatin’ memory of his ol’ sweetheart, this outlaw suspects the fights only jus’ gettin’ started.
-
Jim Ranson
Jim Ranson
Jim Ranson is Early’s sidekick and one of Ol’ Man Sotheby’s gang of outlaws.
He might not be the sharpest spur in the barn, but if he knows one thing, it’s that he sure as hell don’t wanna be a sidekick forever.
With rumours of a new Sheriff on the wind, all this feller gotta do is prove himself to Sotheby as the best gold-huntin’ outlaw in the West, but at what cost?

Willy the Pianist
Willy the Pianist
A permanent fixture in the Saloon Bar, Willy is a man of few words, but what he lacks in conversation he makes up for in his toe-tappin’ talents on the keys.
Willy can always be counted on to lift the moods of the Saloon’s regulars with a hootenanny. The say once he gets you up dancin’ you ain’t gonna stop.
