St Joan of the Stockyards
by Bertolt Brecht, directed by Bethan Barke and Kieran Rose
How does someone “do good” in a bad system?
This is Brecht’s Saint Joan of the Stockyards. Set between the cut-throat worlds of meat-packing plants and big-business boardrooms, the play follows Joan Dark, a young activist trying to help people who are being chewed up by the system.
This production by Park Theatre Young Company asks who really has power, who gets left behind, and what it costs to fight back.
