Production submissions, script submissions and space for local artists.

Park Theatre presents a mixture of new writing and modern revivals, collaborating with the finest talent on stage and behind the scenes to deliver world class theatre. We tell accessible, real-to-life stories, whose content resonates and reflects the world around us and the neighbourhoods close by. We produce our own productions in-house and also work with producers and theatre companies from across the UK and internationally to bring some of the world’s best new theatre to heart of Finsbury Park. We aim for a breadth and variety of narratives and viewpoints throughout our programming, and endeavour to represent our diverse audience on our stages as fully as possible.

If you are a professional producer or theatre company and would like to submit a proposal to produce a show in one of our theatres, we would love to receive a production proposal from you.

We are happy to consider work in all genres and on all topics, but are particularly interested in work that is made by and tells the stories of women, people from the global majority, LGBTQ+ communities, lower socio-economic backgrounds and D/deaf and disabled people.

To submit a proposal, please read and complete the relevant Park90 or Park200 documents below and return them to submissions@parktheatre.co.uk. We will read and respond to all fully completed submissions. Please note we cannot consider submissions that do not include all relevant forms, or submissions which have been sent to any other address.

Park Theatre works in partnership with Papatango Theatre on the Papatango New Writing Prize, co-producing the winning entry of this prestigious award in a full run in Park200. The winner of the 2024 Papatango New Writing Prize was Hannah Doran, with her play The Meat Kings! (Inc.) of Brookyln Heights which opens at Park Theatre on 30 November 2025. Beyond the Papatango New Writing Prize process, Park Theatre cannot respond directly to unsolicited scripts without a producer attached.

Through this scheme, Park Theatre offers free space to local artists and companies of any theatrical genre for them to work on their next script or show. Perhaps you have a project you would like some time and space to develop, or maybe you’re a writer who would like a quiet space to write and some feedback on your work.
