2007. Decatur, Illinois (aka America’s asscrack). With a cursed family at home and the class bully set on outing him to the entire school, life for 15-year-old emo kid Eliot is far from easy.

But through it all he has us. His confidants. His goblins.

That is until he meets the much older reality TV star Max, and they begin a destructive relationship that will change everything.

Written & performed by Derek Mitchell (known online as @derekscottmitchell and @letsdoubledutch), Goblin is a “seriously impressive” (The Stage) dark, comedic solo performance about obsession, growing up and the transformative power of being seen.

Told through vivid characters, shifting voices and physical transformation, this pitch-black comedy asks, can a man who has lost himself find his goblin again?
