DIRECTOR I MATTHEW ILIFFE Matthew Iliffe trained on the StoneCrabs Young Directors Programme, in association with The Albany, and at the University of Bristol, where he participated in the Bristol Old Vic Young Directors Scheme, taught by Lee Lyford. Previous directing credits include The Angel of Peckham (Duelling Productions' McConnell New Writing Fund, Theatro Technis), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Landor) and Precious Little Talent (Gobstoppers Festival, The Albany).  This year Matthew will direct Stitches (Hen & Chickens). He is currently Assistant Director to Hannah Chissick on Brass for National Youth Music Theatre (Hackney Empire).


 

 

 

 

 

 

 MUSICAL DIRECTOR I NICK BARSTOW

Nick trained at the University of Oxford. Recent credits as Musical Director / Composer include: I'm getting My  Act Together and Taking it on the Road (Jermyn Street Theatre), Closer Than Ever (Pheasantry), Seasons Of Larson (Lyric Theatre West End), Princess Ida (Finborough Theatre), You Won’t Succeed On Broadway If You Don’t Have Any Jews (St James Theatre, Garrick Theatre West End), A Christmas Carol (Middle Temple Hall), Dick!, Sleeping Booty, Music Hall Menagerie (Leicester Square Theatre). Nick has also taught at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Urdang, Associated Studios and The University of Cumbria. He is currently filming with Gareth Malone for a forthcoming BBC TV series. Nick is co-founder and MD of vocal group AfterParty, Recently the group have performed at the St James Theatre, Aldwych Theatre, Dominion Theatre, The View From The Shard and King’s Place.

Rachel trained at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Debbie O'Brien Casting specialises in theatre casting for the West End, UK and international tours and regional productions. Projects include: Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Palace Theatre, London), Flashdance - The Musical (Shaftesbury Theatre, London), Thriller Live (Lyric Theatre, London, Number 1 UK Tour, International Tour), Grease - The Musical (Piccadilly Theatre, London)



ASSISTANT DIRECTOR I EMILY LOIZOU

Emily Louizou trained at UCL and is about to start an MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck, University of London. Recent directing credits include: Heiner Müller’s Hamletmachine (Tanner Street warehouse), Sarah Kane’s 4.48 Psychosis (Crypt St Pancras Church), Euripides’ Bacchae (Bloomsbury Theatre, British Museum & International Tour), Eugene Ionesco’s The Bald Soprano (Camden Fringe), world premiere of Gingerbread (Almeida Theatre), Unknown (Bloomsbury Theatre). She is artistic director and founder of Collide Theatre, a collective of emerging artists producing edgy new work and reimagining classics.

 

 

 


SOUND DESIGNER I PHILLIP MATEJTSCHUK

Philip trained in Sound Design For The Theatre from RADA. Most recently, Recent sound design credits include Better Together (Jack Studio Theatre), A Secret Life (Theatre503/promenade), Cosi (Kings Head Theatre), Orphans (Southwark Playhouse), Chew (Etcetera Theatre),The Haunting (Jack Studio Theatre), Hello Again, Baby (both Hope Theatre), Caught (Pleasance, Islington) and Dead Party Animals (Hope Theatre - Offie nomination). Other credits include Iphigenia in Tauris (Rose Playhouse), Othello (Rose Playhouse & Waterloo East Theatre transfer), 1938: Hitler Takes Vienna, Leonce & Lena, rockpaperscissors (all Jack Studio Theatre), and Mother Courage And Her Children (Platform Theatre, KX). Associate sound designer credits include Pig Farm (St. James Theatre), Stevie (Hampstead Theatre) and King Lear (Cockpit Theatre). Philip is resident sound designer & technician at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
