Intersected: how to combine activism in your writing and celebrate your heritage while navigating an industry built on privilege.
 

Join British-Armenian playwright Abi Zakarian for a workshop that will help you discover how to combine activism within your writing; in particular in celebration and recognition of heritage and identity, and also how to access an industry when you don't have connections or privilege. 

Abi Zakarian is an award-winning British-Armenian playwright based in London. Her plays include I Have a Mouth and Will Scream produced by Joyous Gard for VAULT Festival where it won the festival's 2018 People's Choice Award. Her play Fabric, produced by Tremers Theatre, played at Underbelly, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2016 and won a Fringe First Award.

The Park Sessions: Get Into It are free professional development opportunities for creatives that identify as working class, LGBTQI+, those who are deaf or disabled and those of a Culturally Diverse Heritage.
