Riotous Company presents

Insomnia

a pas de deux drama for two girls and a piano man

"pure pleasure" Reviews Gate

A highly entertaining, thought-provoking piece for children, adults and insomniacs alike.

Insomnia weaves strands of physical and musical storytelling leaving it up to an audience to decipher the actions and inventions, or to simply enjoy the performers' ongoing excuses to stay awake. It is both funny and moving – and can be experienced as a journey through styles and genres of music, dance and theatre.

“All composers want to sound unique – but few manage to be as distinctive as Nikola Kodjabashia …”
John. L. Walters, Guardian, July 2004

“Unique and brilliant in every respect, the concept, the music and above all the movement… A real treat!”
Helena Kaut-Howson, Director
