James Bounds - Director

James has trained with Living Pictures and the JMK Trust, and at the National Theatre Studio. Staff/Assistant Director credits include Hamlet and The Cherry Orchard (both National Theatre) and Juliet and Her Romeo (Bristol Old Vic). Recent directing credits include Milk (Bush Theatre), Compliance (Theatre503), Other Hands (Riverside Studios & national tour), For Services Rendered (Union), Laugh Your Farce Off (Pleasance), The Master Builder (Mountview), Philistines and The Education of Hitler (both East 15), as well as a pop up immersive Soviet dining experience called Secret Soviet Dinner. James was a finalist for the 2008 JMK Award and his production of Chauntecleer and Pertelotte (Old Red Lion and Edinburgh Fringe) was nominated for a Total Theatre Award.

Ursula Early – Producer

Ursula Early is the Artistic Director and producer of Big Bear Theatre; for them she has produced: Laugh Your Farce Off a regular night of new farces (Pleasance, Islington & Pleasance Edinburgh).  Other Big Bear projects include: Arts Council funded tour of the Georgian comedy A Bold Stroke For A Husband (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds & Bridewell) and Big Bear commissioned Double Indignity by Daniel O’Brien (Bridewell Theatre). Other credits include: Associate Producer on Guest Suites a site-specific music/dance project that toured nationally (Clore Studio – Royal Opera House, York Minster and Barbican – Plymouth).

Training includes Stage One’s ‘New Producers Workshop’ and in 2012 she was chosen as a producer on Old Vic New Voices TS Eliot US/UK Exchange (Old Vic). Ursula has recently been invited to be a producer on The Production Exchange: http://www.theproductionexchange.com/

Kelli Des Jarlais - Designer

Last year the Royal Opera House and East London Dance named Kelli as an Emerging Artist for their Street Stories: Dance Collaborations project.  She has since been commissioned as the designer for their Street Stories: Faust project, being staged in the Linbury Studio this May. In addition to her design work in theatre and dance, she currently runs her own bespoke clothing company, Rose Noir Designs. 

Recent work includes Window (Witness Theatre Company, Brighton and Camden Fringe), For Services Rendered (Vital Signs Theatre Company, Union Theatre) nominated for Best Costume Design Off-West End Theatre Awards 2011, and Edward’s House of String (Puppet Animation Scotland, Manipulate Festival, Traverse Theatre). Recent costume design work includes The Merchant of Venice (Lazarus Theatre, Brockley Jack Theatre), La Hotel Du Cirque (East 15 Acting School, Cockpit Theatre), and The Education of Hitler (East 15, Tristan Bates Theatre).
