A tour of Park Theatre as part of Demetia Awareness Week.

Dementia Awareness Day

This event is free to attend. 

Sign up to attend an exclusive tour of the building at 10am with our team and sit down and chat with us over tea and coffee following the tour.

Park Theatre is thrilled to be a Dementia Action Alliance Member and to have a growing number of our staff receiving training as dementia friends, as well as providing our Park Players Reminiscence Creative Learning Programme: A free weekly session for those affected by dementia and their carers.

We are working with our local Dementia Action Alliance Coordinators on this event for Dementia Awareness Week, which runs from 15th - 21st May 2017

The Park Players Reminiscence Creative Learning Class will be running upstairs on Dementia Awareness Day (more info here) so you will be able to meet the participants, volunteers and course leaders following their class, when they will join us for tea and coffee. There will be opportunities to find out more about the Reminiscence classes and to purchase tickets for Relaxed and Dementia Friendly Performances at Park Theatre throughout the rest of the year.
