Ratfall Productions in association with Park Theatre present

Corpse! 2020

By Gerald Moon

It is with a heavy heart that Park Theatre has taken the decision to close its doors for a minimum of six weeks, therefore the final week of Corpse will not be going ahead as scheduled. All patrons should by now have been contacted and offered a full refund. As an unsubsidised venue, these next few weeks are financially disastrous for us, so please bear this in mind if you are able to kindly consider gifting the ticket price instead.

Evelyn Farrant - actor - is exceedingly poor.

Rupert Farrant - his twin - is excessively rich.

There seems to be only one solution. Evelyn must kill Rupert and inherit his wealth.

The time: the eve of Edward VIII’s abdication speech.
The reluctant accomplice: Major Ambrose Powell
The essential grumpy landlady: Mrs McGee.
The likely prospect? Macabre comedy mayhem....

Don't miss out on a major revival of this brilliant comedy thriller which has had successful runs in the West End, Broadway and has played across the globe. It rightfully takes its place in the pantheon of sharp and witty whodunnits alongside Sleuth and Deathtrap. From the producer of Park90 hit, Black Chiffon.

"Brilliant comedy thriller... Vastly entertaining... You may die laughing." N.Y. Post

"If The Mousetrap is the thriller for the fifties; Sleuth for the sixties: Deathtrap for the seventies; Corpse! is surely the thriller for the eighties." L.A. Times

"There is always a warm welcome for superlative hokum and here it is by the bucketful. A wild, high camp comedy thriller... a play where anything can happen... and most of it does!" Daily Mail

Corpse! Is presented by special arrangement with Samuel French Ltd, a Concord Theatricals Company.
