Ye | Lucy Sheen 

Lucy Sheen trained at The Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama, one of the first if not the first British-Chinese actress to be accepted into a recognised UK adult drama school, graduating with a BA in Theatre Arts. 

Lucy’s first theatre job in 1986, Russell Hoban’s Riddley Walker (The Royal Exchange). Followed by Portia in Julius Caesar At BOV directed by Roger Rees. Recent stage work includes Snow in Midsummer (RSC), The Scar Test (Soho Theatre).

TV includes EastEnders (BBC), Julia Davis’ black comedy Nighty Night, more recently Call The Midwife (BBC) and Casualty (BBC).

Films Include: British feature film PING PONG directed by Po Chi’h Leong. The first British feature film to explore the complex issues of the British-Chinese community.  Mike Leigh’s Secrets & Lies (1995), Luca Barbareschi’s The Mercury Incident: Something Good(2013). 

Lucy is also a published playwright, poet and author
