It’s Friday evening on a council estate in Dalston... Gideon, a young, observant Jewish man from the other side of town is attacked.

The warm-hearted and quirky Gina insists on protecting him in her flat. Dusk falls, Sabbath begins and no strictly observant Jew can travel by any form of transport. Gideon is forced to spend the night… but in the bedroom lies Billy, Gina’s husband.

Tim Stark returns to the Park Theatre to direct this funny and touching new play by award-winning writer Stewart Permutt, following his acclaimed production Jonah and Otto in Park200.
