RAT IN A BAG

We saw the Rat today – we were on a tour of the theatre with the Old Vic crew and Mr Rat decided to make an appearance. He’s not the same rat that was previously resident – we know this as the last one ended up in a body bag. We’ll just have to lay some more traps. I think it’s the new trenches that have been dug. As soon as the site’s cleared out and we’re water tight again they’ll be gone – and we’ll rat-proof like mad.

Talking of being water tight, as I write this it’s pouring with rain – the first in a long time. Time to get that roof off pronto as the winter starts to set in!
